Mary Kay's mother believed she could do it so can you.
Mary Kay Ash is one of the most successful executives in the world. She
grew up in Houston where her mother had to work 14hrs per/day and her father had a
crippling disease and little Mary Kay Ash had to take care of all his needs. By the time
she was 10 she was completely independent buying her own clothes, cooking and taking care
of her father. Mary credits her mother for her success, she says her mother helped her set
up her own great expectations and encouraged her that she could do it. It was by phone
that Mary's mother guided her and Mary says she can always remember her mother finishing
the call by saying "you can do it, I know you can do it"
